Departures & Arrivals is a boutique furniture and home décor retailer in Singapore. We create a “Global Eclectic Chic” look for the home. D&A takes inspiration from regional cultural influences but applies it to a modern living context to create universal appeal. The result is a collection of furniture that are not overtly ethnic or traditional but still hold strong stories of heritage and locally inspired design. D&A is the official retailer of Ito Kish furniture in Singapore. The collection includes the iconic Gregoria chair. D&A sells accent tables, accent chairs, stools, consoles, shelves, cupboards, storage, crates, carpets, rugs, poufs, pillow cushions, wall décor, tabletop décor, brass accessories, metalwork decors, lamps, candelabras, vases, lighting, trays, baskets, frames, mirrors, paperweights and sculptures. All pieces are handmade. Materials used are natural, ranging from mahogany, gmelina, various solid wood, brass, fine bone china, wool, cotton, jute, metal, brass, chrome and copper. Certain pieces are made functional by the use of synthetic material such as acrylic and PE plastic. The products are sourced from several workshops within the Philippines, India, and Italy. However the designs are inspired from all over the globe, such as Turkey, South Africa, Norway, Scandinavia, the Middle East, France, Morocco, Central Asia and Kyrgyzstan.
